No FedEx account is necessary to take advantage of the special discount and print FedEx shipping labels on eBay. You don’t need to enroll or be enrolled in the FedEx Advantage Program to have the discounts applied to your shipments.
Unfortunately, you can only print FedEx shipping labels for package services at this time.
For package services that deliver to both residential and business addresses, there is always an additional fee if the delivery address is residential.
FedEx Home Delivery is for delivery to residential addresses. Delivery dates are Tuesday through Saturday. FedEx Ground is for delivery to business addresses. Delivery dates are Monday through Friday. In addition, FedEx Home Delivery includes a residential surcharge.
The package will still be delivered, but there will be a residential surcharge added.
This is the value of the package you’re sending. If you insure the package, this is also used to determine insurance costs. For the services provided on eBay, FedEx will provide a complementary $100.00 declared value – Anything over this amount will be billed to the seller.
The discount is up to 37%, and you don’t even need to register for it. All you have to do is print the shipping label on eBay. The estimated discount will be shown when you submit the package information.

Yes. All FedEx services offered on eBay include free online tracking and delivery confirmation. Proof of delivery is available for an additional charge.
You would be covered for transactions of up to $250, provided you meet the other basic requirements of the seller protection policy. For transactions of $250 or more, you would also have to require a signature at delivery. You could use any of the three signature options available — indirect signature, direct signature, or adult signature
To pass our discount along to you, we’ll pay FedEx directly and then add your FedEx shipping label costs to your monthly eBay invoice. Your invoice can be found in My Account under My eBay.
FedEx can assess residential and fuel surcharges. An estimated amount of these surcharges will be shown to you with the estimated cost when you print a FedEx shipping label.
A delivery area surcharge applies to package shipments destined to select U.S. ZIP codes. In addition, a delivery area surcharge applies to FedEx Express and FedEx Ground shipments destined for areas in Alaska and Hawaii that are remote, sparsely populated or geographically difficult to access. Please visit www.fedex.com for a list of ZIP codes where this surcharge applies.
When you give us your package information, we use it to generate a dollar amount due. Specifically, it’s based on the weight, dimension, and distance that your package is being shipped. Once your package arrives at the FedEx station, it will be reweighted by a FedEx employee. If any of this package information is entered incorrectly, the FedEx shipping label cost may change.
For example, if you say your package weighed 5 pounds — but when FedEx scanned the package for delivery and discovered it actually weighed 50 pounds — the actual shipping label cost would be higher. This higher amount would be billed to your monthly invoice, rather than the estimated amount you were shown when the label was printed.
You won’t be charged for a FedEx shipping label purchased on eBay until the package has been delivered to the buyer. You can also void an existing shipping label from the eBay website.
Any shipping label created on eBay can be reprinted within 24 hours by visiting My eBay or the transaction’s order details page. You can reprint a label up to 10 times.
If an item is lost or arrives damaged, you and your buyer should try to work it out first. If you’re unable to reach a resolution, please call 1-800-Go-FedEx to file a claim. If any money is due to the buyer, it would be your responsibility to provide this refund.
ShipCover is only available with USPS shipping labels.

Yes, you will always have to pay your monthly eBay statement, and if you claim is approved, FedEx will mail you a reimbursement claim check in the mail.
If a recipient’s address on a shipping label is incomplete or incorrect, FedEx may attempt to find the correct address and complete delivery. eBay suggests that the seller contact the buyer to discuss a workable solution, and to inform the buyer that they will need to correct their address so this does not happen in the future.
