Uploading tracking information with your label printing tool

Most major third party label printing tools can be integrated with eBay for easy automatic uploading of all your tracking information. It’s more important than ever to ensure that tracking numbers are uploaded to My eBay – not only does it provide good customer service to your buyers, it can also protect you in the event that an item not received case is filed, and it can help get you automatic five-star DSRs for shipping time.

ShipRush
ShipRush is a third party label printing tool that allows you to automatically import address information, print shipping labels and packing slips, and process shipments in just a few clicks.
ShipRush is fully integrated with eBay, which means your tracking numbers are automatically uploaded to eBay every time you ship. This means that Delivery Confirmation numbers and tracking numbers flow into eBay automatically. (Note that certain shipping services, like First Class Letters are not trackable, but this is an exceptional case.)

When you install ShipRush, you’ll be asked to authorize the software to access some information in your eBay account, such as your sold item information. (ShipRush will not have access to any other information about your account.) Once you’ve completed the authorization process, information for all eBay shipments completed through ShipRush will automatically be transmitted back to My eBay.

You can see if ShipRush is properly authorized to work with your eBay account by following these steps:
  1. Go to the Account tab of My eBay. You may be asked to sign in.
  2. Select Site Preferences. Scroll down to General Preferences section and locate Third party authorizations. Click “Show” on the right hand side.
  3. Any third parties that are authorized to perform certain actions on eBay on your behalf. Look for “ShipRush by Z-Firm LLC.” If you do not see this third party on the list, this means that ShipRush is not integrated with your eBay account and therefore will not be passing tracking information back to eBay.

Check My eBay Site Preferences to ensure that ShipRush is properly authorized to work with your account.

If your tracking numbers are still not moving automatically from ShipRush to My eBay, you can get help on the ShipRush forums or email info@shiprush.com.
