Word on the street is that the new iPhone is coming, so list your current mobile phone now and fetch the best price. Use the money to buy the newest model, phone accessories, or just cash in. It's a good time to sell now.

Buyers get frustrated when they've bid on an item and the seller ends the listing early—and it may discourage them from bidding on items next time. Be sure to let your listing run to the end, or set a Buy it Now price to attract buyers who don't want to wait. Starting October 1, there will be a fee for ending early an Auction-style listing that already has a bid.

The fee will equal the amount of the final value fee had the listing ended naturally and sold for the highest bid received when the listing was ended. The fee will be waived for the first incidence each calendar year. If you end the listing early and sell to no one, you pay the fee, but if you sell to the highest bidder at time of cancellation, you avoid the fee.

Starting in October, when you list, revise a listing, or relist an item, you must include at least one picture of the item. With photos now free—up to 12 per listing (excludes Motor vehicles)—we recommend using them all.
