Enhancements in My Messages

Share photos, sync your personal inbox with My Messages
Updates give My Messages the power and convenience you need to manage your communications with buyers—upload pictures, respond to messages from your primary eBay inbox and automatically stay in sync with My Messages.

Highlights

  • In June, your primary email account on file with eBay and your email in My Messages were automatically synchronized. If you prefer to reply to an email through your primary eBay email account, no need to navigate to My Messages to mark the item as ‘Read’ in My Messages—it will be done automatically.
  • Sent message from your primary eBay email address will also be routed automatically to your ‘Sent’ folder in My Messages.
  • Starting late September, you can upload and share photos through My Messages. No need to share your personal email address or use a third party photo sharing service to send buyers additional photos of an item.

Take Action

Start using eBay’s Messages Photo Sharing in late September.
