What is Item Condition? Information about your item Item condition allows you to tell buyers up front about the condition of the item you are selling on eBay. Some examples of Item Condition are:
Your first step to selling on eBay Express As a seller, adding the condition of your item to your listing is the first step to participating in eBay Express. Including the condition of your item is a requirement for all listings on the new specialty site which will be coming soon.
Item Condition Guidelines eBay Express Listing or Seller Requirements How do I include Item Condition with my listings? You can revise your listings with the enhanced Bulk Editor which can be accessed via My eBay. For Store Sellers:
Access the Bulk Editor from My eBay by clicking the "Edit" button as indicated.
Click the "Bulk Edit" link and then Add Item Condition to your Store Inventory Listings
Additional information about Item Condition An item is considered "New" when it meets the following guidelines:
Note: Item condition is not an indication of the item's age. If age is known, please specify the creation and/or release date of the item (for example: Fall 2005) in the item description. As a seller, you can use the listing description area of your listing to help buyers learn more about the condition, age, and history of your item. Provide buyers with answers to these questions if applicable:

To view the listing and seller checklist for eBay Express go to http://pages.ebay.com/sell/announcement/overview/express.html Treatment of categories without Item Condition in eBay Express There are categories where traditional item condition values like New, Used or Refurbished are not applicable, such as for items like magazine subscriptions and Vintage Fishing Reels. In these categories, we will not be introducing Item Condition values prior to the launch of eBay Express. However, (start underline)a portion of the categories that do not have item condition will be included in eBay Express at launch (end underline) because the condition of the product is easily understood by looking at item titles. The rest of the categories that do not have item condition will not be included in eBay Express at launch.
