PayPal

PayPal is the fast, easy and secure way to pay and be paid on eBay, including the PayPal Security Key.

 

For Safer Shopping, Avoid Using Risky Payment Methods

Never pay for eBay purchases with Western Union, MoneyGram or other instant cash transfer services. eBay's accepted payments policy prohibits sellers from requesting payment through these cash transfer services as well as checks or money orders. Here's why:

• When you send money through instant cash transfer services, you can't confirm who picks up the cash. Once you send the money, you won't be able to get it back either.
• Western Union and MoneyGram both discourage buyers from using their services to pay for auction-style listings. Learn more.
• eBay does not offer purchase protection for payments made by check, money orders, cash on delivery or instant cash transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram.

 

eBay Buyer Protection

eBay Buyer Protection covers items purchased on eBay with eligible payment methods that are not received or not as described in the listing. Some purchases are not covered, including prohibited or restricted items and items listed or that should be listed in the Motors (except for Parts and Accessories) and Real Estate categories. Most Business and Industrial categories are covered by eBay Buyer Protection.

Remember, eBay Buyer Protection doesn't cover fraudulent charges or buyer remorse. Also, items must be purchased on the U.S. eBay.com website to qualify for eBay Buyer Protection coverage, and are covered for 45 days from the date of payment. eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection

eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection provides coverage of up to $50,000 against certain losses associated with some types of fraud. You are automatically enrolled in the program at no charge when you complete the purchase of an eligible vehicle on the eBay Motors site. Learn more.

 

 

eBay Business Equipment Purchase Protection

Purchase of capital equipment are protected for up to $20,000 or the equipment purchase price, whichever is lower. Learn more.
