Starting Tuesday, May 18, 2004 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second on Tuesday, May 18, 2004) and ending 23:59:59 PT on Monday, May 24, 2004 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).


Who is eligible
Any eBay member who has never listed any item for sale on eBay. This offer is for first-time sellers only. Only your first listing will be eligible.


How do I get my free listing?
Go to eBay and click the "Sell" button located at the top of this page and register to sell on eBay. Next, create a listing for your item during the promotional period May 18 - 24, 2004. eBay members who meet the eligibility requirement listed above will receive an insertion fee credit PLUS members can add the Gallery upgrade to their first listing for an additional credit.

What are the fees?
For Auction-style and Fixed Price listings on eBay.com the insertion fee for a first listing will be waived. In addition, if you choose the Gallery option you will receive a credit for selecting this option.

Please note: the discounted fees will not be immediately reflected on the site. You will see a credit to your seller's account by early July 2004.

If your item sells, the final value fee will be charged. If you create additional listings during this promotional period, insertion and any additional listing upgrade fees will apply.


What is excluded?
eBay Motors vehicles and non-vehicle listings, International, Live Auction, Real Estate Ad Format, Professional Services, and Store Inventory listings. The promotional rate does not apply to listings with a start date prior to May 18, 2004.

* Optional Listing Upgrade Fees: Buy It Now, Featured Plus!, Highlight, Bold, Home Page Featured, Gallery Featured, Gift Services, Reserve listing fee, Listing Designer, Picture Services, Slide Show, Supersize Picture, extended duration surcharges.
