Starting Thursday May 17, 2007 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second on Thursday May 17, 2007) and ending 23:59:59 PT on Thursday, May 31, 2007 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).

Who is eligible?

Any eBay member who has never listed any item on eBay. This offer is for first-time sellers only. Only your first three listings will be eligible.

How do I get my free insertion fee?

Click the "Start Selling" button located at the top of this page. Next, create a listing for your item during the promotional period May 17-31, 2007. eBay members who meet the eligibility requirement listed above will receive up to three insertion fees PLUS members can add the Gallery upgrade to all three qualifying listings for free.

PLEASE NOTE: For sellers listing with any tool other than SYI 3.0, the promotional price will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in view account status, as well as in the invoice.

What are the fees?

For Auction-style and Fixed Price listings on eBay.com, the insertion fees for the first 3 listings will be waived. In addition, if you choose the Gallery option you will receive this feature for free as well (up to 3). Please note: the Value Pack feature will be discounted to $0.30 to reflect the discounted Gallery offer.

What is excluded?

This promotion will not apply to the following types of listings: All eBay Motors listings (including Parts & Accessories, Passenger Vehicles, Motorcycles, Power Sports, Other Vehicles), International, Live Auction, Professional Services, Real Estate, Ad Format and Store Inventory listings. The following business and industrial categories are excluded from the Insertion Fee Sale: tractors & farm machinery (91952), heavy equipment (25249), concession trailers, carts (67145), imaging and aesthetics equipment (92035), forklifts and other lifts (97185), manufacturing equipment (92080), metalworking equipment (92082) and commercial printing presses (26247).

The promotional rate does not apply to listings with a start date prior to May 17, 2007 - including those listings revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the promotional period and scheduled to start after the promotion ends.
