What is the Promotion?

Invited sellers ("Sellers") who activate the offer and then create a listing in the auction-style or auction-style with Buy It Now format, within a Qualifying Category* at a starting price below $5, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein ("Qualifying Listing"), will receive a 40% discount on final value fees for the first 100 sold items that are listed during the Promotion Period (the "Promotion"). Auction-style items must be listed without a Reserve Price to be eligible for the discount. The Promotion excludes items with the Reserve Price feature added.

Please note: Discounted final value fees will be applied to the total amount of the sale, including the cost of the item and shipping, excluding any sales tax. All existing selling limits on your account (as well as category and item limits) still apply, and may prevent you from creating the maximum number of listings in this Promotion. Listing fees may apply, depending on how many listings you have already created; learn more about seller fees, including number of free listings per month, by viewing our everyday rate plan.

Who's eligible?

This Promotion is available to Sellers who: (i) received an email and/or message in My eBay; (ii) activated the Promotion from the invitation email, the Promotion landing page, or from within the Promotional Offers module within My eBay: All Selling; and (iii) meet eBay's minimum seller performance standards. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

When is it?

This Promotion will begin on the date specified in the message you received through email or eBay Message Center, at 00:00:01 PT (12:00AM plus one second), and will end on the date specified in the message you received through email or eBay Message Center, at 23:59:59 PT (11:59PM plus 59 seconds), for listings on www.ebay.com (the "Promotion Period").

How do I get the Promotion?

Sellers that have been invited to participate in the Promotion will receive a 40% discount, for up to 100 sold items, after they activate the Promotion, and then create Qualifying Listings during the Promotion Period with the Seller's qualifying eBay user ID. Please note, the discount may not be shown during the listing process. Instead, the discounted fees may be reflected in the "Seller Account" section in My eBay, under the Account tab, as well as in your next invoice. Additional optional feature fees still apply.

  • The Promotion excludes items listed in the fixed price format and items listed with a Reserve Price.
  • All Qualifying Listings must comply with all applicable eBay policies, including eBay's Duplicate Listing policy that allows for the removal of duplicate auction-style listings.
  • This Promotion is only valid for listings on the US site at www.ebay.com or with an eBay Mobile application in the US.
  • This Promotion only applies to the select categories as identified above.
  • Fees for optional features (such as reserve price, subtitle, Gallery Plus, listing in 2 categories, etc.) and any applicable PayPal fees will still apply. Please note: Not all features are available in all listing flows.
  • The Promotion excludes listings created prior to activating the offer and listings with a start date prior to, or after the Promotion Period.
