Starting Saturday, February 14, 2009 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second on Saturday, February 14, 2009) and ending 23:59:59 PT on Monday, February 23, 2009 (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).

Who is eligible?
Any eBay member who has never listed any item on eBay. This offer is for first-time sellers only. Only your first three listings will be eligible.

How do I get my free listing?

Click the "Start Selling" button located at the top of this page.
Next, create a listing for your item during the promotional period February 14-23, 2009. eBay members who meet the eligibility requirement listed above will receive up to three insertion fees PLUS members can add the Gallery Plus upgrade to all three qualifying listings for free.

Please note: For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0) the promotional price will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in the "View Account Status" section in My eBay, as well as in your next invoice.

What are the fees?
For Auction-style listings on eBay.com and eBayMotors.com (Parts & Accessories only), the insertion fees for the first 3 listings will be waived. In addition, if you choose the Gallery Plus option you will receive this feature for free as well (up to 3). Please note: the Value Pack feature will also be discounted to $0.35.

If your item sells, the final value fee will be charged. If you create additional listings during this promotional period, insertion and any additional listing upgrade fees will apply.

What is excluded?
This promotion will not apply to the following types of listings: Fixed Price listings, eBay Motors Vehicles listings (including Passenger Vehicles, Motorcycles, Power Sports, Other Vehicles), International, Live Auction, Professional Services, Real Estate, Classified Ads and Store Inventory listings. The following business and industrial categories are excluded from the Insertion Fee Sale: tractors & farm machinery (91952), heavy equipment (25249), concession trailers, carts (67145), imaging and aesthetics equipment (92036), forklifts and other lifts (97185), manufacturing equipment (92080), metalworking equipment (92082) and commercial printing presses (26247). The promotional rate does not apply to listings with a start date prior to February 14, 2009 - including those listings revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the promotional period and scheduled to start after the promotion ends.

* Optional Listing Upgrade Fees: Bold, Border, Buy It Now, Featured Plus!, Highlight, Home Page Featured, Gift Services, Reserve listing fee, Listing Designer, Picture Services, Subtitle, Picture Show, Supersize Picture, extended duration surcharges.
