When is it?
Starting Tuesday, September 16, 2008 between 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second on Tuesday September 16, 2008) and now extended through Friday December 31, 2010 at 23:59:59 PT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds).

What are the fees?
Insertion fees for Fixed Price listings will be 5 cents for listings in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Games and use Product Details or pre filled item information. Additionally, sellers will receive free Subtitle on Auction and Fixed Price listings when using Product Details in Books, Music, Movies & DVDs and Video Game categories.This promotion applies to listings on the U.S. site www.ebay.com as reflected in the fee table below. Listings created prior to September 16, 2008 which are scheduled to start during the promotional period September 16, 2008 - December 31, 2010 will be eligible to receive the promotional rate.

What listings qualify for this promotion?
To qualify for this promotion the listing must be:
  • A Fixed Price listing
  • Listed in any of the following categories - Books (267), Music (11233), Movies & DVDs (11232) or Video Games (1249) Note: This does not include Video Game Systems
  • Listed with Product Details or pre-filled item information Pre-filled Item Information automatically fills in your listing with item information and stock photo. For more information, click here.
Please note: For sellers listing with any tool other than the latest version of the Sell Your Item form (SYI 3.0) the promotional price will not be shown during the listing process. Instead the discount will be reflected in the "View Account Status" section in My eBay, as well as in your next invoice.

What is excluded?
The promotion does not apply to any categories except those listed above, Auction-style listings, Media listings that do not use pre-filled item information, All eBay Motors listings, International, Live Auction, Professional Services, Real Estate, Ad Format and Store Inventory listings.

The promotional rate does not apply to listings with a start date prior to September 16, 2008—including those listings revised during the promotional period. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created September 16, 2008 - December 31, 2010 and scheduled to start after the promotion ends. Please note: for Good Til Cancelled listings, insertion fees will renew at the normal rate ($0.15) when the promotion ends.

You can list Fixed Price items through Sell Your Item Form, eBay Seller Tools, and most third-party tools.
