Upcoming Changes to Photo & Electronics

We have finalized the Upcoming Changes to the Photo & Electronics and Computers Categories. These changes are based on feedback obtained from you over the past month through phone surveys and suggestions emailed to us. We appreciate and are implementing much of your input received during this round of Proposed Category Changes. These changes will go into effect in November 2000.
The changes are summarized as follows:
1. We will move Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and Games from Computers to Photo & Electronics.
2. Games will be broken out by type: Action & Adventure, Arcade, Racing, Role Playing, Simulation, Sports, and Strategy.
3. Due to the popularity of Digital Cameras, we will add categories for the following brands: Agfa, Nikon, Polaroid, Casio, and Epson
4. Wireless phones will be classified by their technology platform: Cellular, GSM, and PCS.
5. Televisions will be broken out by type: Portable, Plasma, and Digital.
