*****Upcoming Changes to Computers Categories*****

Based on the valuable email and phone survey feedback to the Proposed Computers Category changes, the Upcoming Changes to the Computers Categories have been finalized for rollout in November, 2000.
These Upcoming Changes will raise the prominence of many of the key sub-categories, add several new sub-categories and re-group the sub-categories in a more logical way to help buyers find items more easily and intuitively while allowing sellers to list more efficiently. The changes will include:
Renaming some subcategories (eg: DVD ROM Drives to DVD Drives, Power Book to PowerBook, 15" or less to 16-in or less)
Adding new sub-categories in Domain Names
Adding Drives under Laptop Accessories
Combining Adapters and Chargers as one sub-category in Laptop Accessories
Combining Routers and Switches categories into Routers, Switches category
