********Proposed Changes to Art Categories********

To help users find items more quickly and easily in our Art area, we're proposing changes to the organization of our category structure. This proposal incorporates changes suggested by you, the eBay community. We invite you to review the proposed changes and look forward to hearing your feedback so that we can make further improvements. Please send comments to us at art@ebay.com. All input received by the end of April will be considered before final decisions are made.

Here is a brief summary of the proposed changes:

• To facilitate searching Art some of the Collectible Art categories will be gathered together under the Art category. The following categories will be joined with existing categories in Art: Collectible Art ( Artist Offerings, Artistic Nudes, Calendars, Carvings, Sculpture, Decorator, Designer, Folk Art, New Artists' Works, Paint-by-Number, Painting, Posters, Prints, Other Art)
• Collectible Photographic Images and Animation Art will move to Art but retian the existing structure and subcategories.
• Collectible Art categories that will stay in Collectibles and move to Paper Collectibles: Calendars, Paint by Number and Pin-Up (Pin-Up will also be added as an attribute selection for prints and posters in Art)
• Animation Characters will stay in Collectibles
