*****Upcoming Changes to Antiques & Art Categories*****

Thank you to everyone who submitted comments and ideas regarding the Antiques & Art changes! We have incorporated many of your suggestions into the final changes, which are detailed below.

Here is a brief summary of the changes:

• To facilitate searching, all Art categories will be gathered under one "umbrella". Antiques will be handled similarly.
• Most Art categories will have three main breakouts which can be seen in the details below.
• We're adding a new category for Digital Art.
• Photographic Images will be broken into Pre-1940 and 1940-Now.
• The Prints category has been restructured to include Limited and Open Editions.
• A new category for Self-Representing Artists is being created to support the growing community of artists selling their own work on eBay. Several of you requested further breakouts in this area. We plan to add subcategories, but want more feedback from the community after launching the category before we do so.
• New groups, such as Decorative Arts would be created to consolidate those items currently scattered throughout the structure. We're also adding the following individual categories: Cast Iron, Coin Silver, Embroidery, Picture Frames, and Wrought Iron plus new breakouts for the Flatware subcategories in Silver.
• Some of you expressed concerns about the Glass and Ceramics categories duplicating those elsewhere on eBay. We aren't making any changes here for now, but welcome your input for future consideration.
