| As a pro, I use a professional digital SLR camera, such as the Canon EOS D60 shown here. The main advantage of using a digital SLR is that you can add accessory digital lenses, from fisheye to super telephoto. But for fun shots around the house, I use a digital point-and-shoot camera, such as the Kodak EasyShare model shown here. So, I have two different cameras to meet two different needs. But with both cameras, my digital imaging software, Adobe Photoshop, is the key to making my pictures look their best. |

April showers bring May flowers! And showers can mean waterfalls, small as they may be. To get a great shot of a waterfall, one in which the water looks soft and flowing, set your camera on a tripod and set a slow shutter speed, perhaps as long as 30 seconds or even a minute. To get a slow shutter speed, you may need to use a neutral density filter (to reduce the amount of light entering the lens). And to prevent camera shake, use a cable release.
Technical info: Canon EOS 1D, Canon 17-35mm lens @ 17mm, Bogen tripod, Hoya Neutral Density filter
