The Future of Fashion Is Here on eBay
It's fun, easy and affordable- connecting fashion-forward people from around the globe to mom, pop, sister, and daughter boutiques online. I am thrilled to be working on such an exciting, creative and ever-changing shopping experience. Recently, in the fashion capital of the world, New York City, we held meetings with some of the chicest editors around and basically blew them away with the variety, accessibility and great prices that you, the eBay shopper and seller, have been experiencing for years!
We met with many fashion trendsetters like Sasha Charnin Morrison, who has done a whole article in April's Allure Personal Shopper section on my 10 best pieces to buy for this spring's most sought after look-The Sultry Senorita (aka Frida Kahlo). So check it out! After you've put a peasant top by Free People with a ruffled skirt by DKNY in your "My eBay" section, you should choose a beaded or embroidered bag and cover it all up with a vintage embroidered piano shawl. To be truly free and to be like Frida, stack the accessories! The more the merrier, and the more eclectic the jewels and belts the better!
Elle came by and chose eBay's sleek '60s icon Jackie O look for their April issue! Buy a pair of colored wraparound sunglasses-the look works well with Gucci or Versace. After all, '60s severity is right in style.

I can honestly say that these well-schooled and trend-savvy fashion forerunners, if not already eBay addicts, were pleasantly surprised at just how hot and ahead of its time eBay has become, thanks to you, our buyers and sellers. Where's My Oscar, Where's My Evening Suit
Despite what you may have heard, glamour is not gone with the wind and it can be part of your everyday life. People are still oohing and aahing over Golden Globes' best-dressed Halle Berry in her "cocoa couture" confection by Valentino. And there's more to come…the Oscars, the SAG Awards...we're talkin' a full-out fashion frenzy.
I just love it! Remember when Uma wore lavender Prada, and Nicole wore her chartreuse (cheongsam inspired) Dior, Ashley showed some leg in her slit-to-there white Richard Tyler, and Jodie Foster and Annette Benning dazzled in classic Armani? That was then and this is now, so let the new trends begin…at this year's Golden Globes: Jennifer Aniston, Sissy Spacek, and Cate Blanchett made the right choice to step out in a very attainable look for most body types: "evening suiting" paired with wide pants (because comfort is the ultimate luxury), or clean skirts. Both are chic ways to work any red carpet or party. Tuxedo-jacket looks from Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Oscar de la Renta or Escada can always make magic happen, with or without Catherine Malandrino's or Dolce & Gabbana's ruffled shirts, lace blouses or even vintage lingerie worn underneath…it's a look that speaks to today's working woman or neo-romantic.
