If I have opted out of Checkout and want to include PayPal in my listing, do I have to use eBay's Checkout?
No, you do not need to use eBay's Checkout to include PayPal in your auction-style listing. If you offer PayPal and have Checkout turned off, the "Pay Now" button will take the buyer directly to the PayPal site to complete payment.
If you offer both PayPal and Billpoint and have Checkout turned off, the "Pay Now" button will take buyers to the "Select Payment Method" page. From there, selecting PayPal will take the buyer directly to PayPal to complete payment. If the buyer selects Billpoint from this page, they will be taken to Billpoint to complete payment.
Please note that with Checkout turned off, the "Pay Now" button will not present buyers with any other payment methods (such as personal check, money order, etc.) that you may offer.

Will I still be able to list my items using Billpoint (eBay Payments)?
Billpoint (eBay Payments) will continue to be available to registered Billpoint sellers until after the first of the year. New seller registrations with Billpoint will be discontinued over the next few weeks. There will be no changes to Billpoint for buyers. We will communicate to registered Billpoint sellers well in advance of the change. In the meantime, we encourage sellers who would like to offer electronic payment options to their buyers to try PayPal.
Will I be able to select PayPal as a payment option on the Sell Your Item form if I don't accept credit cards?
The PayPal option from the Sell Your Item form supports both credit cards and electronic checks, and sellers who choose PayPal as an option on the Sell Your Item form agree to accept both. Credit card logos will be automatically inserted into the listings of a seller who chooses this option. Buyers can then choose to either pay via credit card or electronic check.
In order to accept credit card payments, sellers who have a personal account will need to upgrade to a PayPal Premier or Business account. Please note that sellers who accept credit cards through their PayPal Premier or Business accounts are subject to PayPal fees.
