eBay Motors Dealer Pricing
For every type of vehicle you might list, eBay Motors employs an affordable, straightforward, two-tier fee structure. You'll enjoy per-vehicle pricing with no backdoor charges.
Two-Tier Fee Structure
First, each time you list a vehicle for up to 7 days, eBay charges a flat Insertion Fee based on the type of vehicle you're selling.
Then, after you receive the first bid on that listing (or if you set a Reserve Price, after you receive the first bid over that Reserve), eBay charges a flat Transaction Service Fee, also based on the type of vehicle you're selling: Click here to view the fee schedule.
This is where the safeguard kicks in. If you don't receive a single bid over the course of your entire listing (or a single bid over Reserve), you will not be charged the second flat fee. Obviously, you'd rather sell the car or truck, but if your listing generates no response, you're not penalized. Though, you should clearly revisit that listing to make it more effective.
For an additional charge, you can attract extra traffic to your listings using additional merchandising features – like bold type and highlighting. Or you may want to sell parts and accessories on eBay Motors.
