The Financing Link Button
We've made it very easy for you to offer financing to your buyers by simply adding a Financing Link to your eBay Motors item description, payment instructions, and buyer e-mails.
When buyers click on the financing link in your listing, they are taken to the eBay Motors Financing Center to apply for financing from one of our specialty lenders who handle the entire transaction.
Step 1 -- Select the Right Button or Link
There are four options to choose from depending on where you want to place the Financing Link.
- If you want to place a button in your item description, HTML-enabled email system or any other HTML page such as your Checkout or AboutMe page, you'll need to use Option A: Graphic with Text HTML Link.
- If you want to place a text-only HTML link (without the graphic button) in an email, you'll need to use Option B: Text-only HTML Link.
- If you want to send a link in an text (non-HTML) email, you'll need to use Option C: Text-only Link.
- If you want to send the link with your payment instructions, you can use Option D: Payment Instructions Link and Text.
Step 2 -- Add the Financing Link to Your Site
Copy and paste the HTML code or plain text from the option selected in Step 1 into your item description, buyer emails and, if applicable, your AboutMe and Checkout pages.
