| Requirements to Participate in Live Auctions |
To participate in a Live Auction, all you have to do is sign up and make sure that your system is configured properly.
Sign up before you bid
To bid in any Live Auction, you need to complete these two steps:
- Register with eBay, if you haven't already
Only registered eBay users can participate in Live Auctions. If you are new to eBay, you can register now.Auction houses require that you provide some form of personal identification in order to bid. This can usually be done by placing your credit card on file or providing an alternative ID. Your credit card will not be charged. This information is used for identification purposes only.
- Sign up for each auction you want to participate in
Each time you want to participate in a particular auction, we'll ask you to review the terms and conditions governing that specific sale. In some cases, you maybe required to provide additional information to the auction house before being approved. Once you agree to the terms and conditions and provide any additional information that may be required, you are ready to participate in the auction.Find out more details about the registration process.
