Using eBay Stores Traffic Reports to Understand Your Business

There are several types of traffic reports that you can use to understand and develop your eBay business.

Reports that provide an overview of your Store and listings

Unique Visitors Report
Shows the number of unique visitors you received for a particular day or month. You can use this report to see the number of different people who viewed your Store, listings, and other pages that eBay tracks for you during any given day or month.

Page Views Report
Shows the number of times visitors have viewed pages that are being tracked for you by eBay. This includes pages from all of your listings, pages within your Store, your Feedback Profile, and your Seller's Other Items page. You can use this report to see recent traffic patterns for your Store, your listings, and other pages.

Visits Report
Shows the number of visits made to the pages that are being tracked for you by eBay. You can use this report to identify the impact of modifications that you have made to your Store or listings, by seeing how the total number of visits has changed during a given time period.

Reports that identify how and where buyers are accessing your Store and listings

These reports will give you insight into which sites and search engines your visitors are coming from, as well as specific search keywords they used to find your Store and listings.

Referring Domains Report
Shows the domains your visitors were visiting immediately before accessing your Store or listings. A domain is a high-level Internet address such as ebay.com or paypal.com.

Search Engines Report
Helps you identify which search engines people are using to find your Store and listings. You can use this report to see which search engines are performing best for you.

Search Keywords Report
Shows a breakdown of each search keyword that has been used to find your Store and listings. You can use this report to identify which keywords are most effective in finding your Store and listings, and then include those keywords in your listing titles and descriptions.

Reports that identify which listings and pages buyers are looking at

These reports will give you insight into which items and pages are of interest to your buyers.

Most Popular Pages Report
Lists all of your pages that are being tracked by eBay and Omniture, and tells you which pages receive the highest number of visits.

Popular Listings Report
Shows the number of times your listings have been viewed. You can use this report to determine which listings have been viewed the most and to identify popular items.

Store Home Page Views Report
Shows the number of times your Store home page has been viewed. Depending on how you chose to set up your Store, your Store home page can be one of your custom pages or eBay's default Store home page. You can use this report to monitor how many people view your Store's home page on a daily basis and assess the effectiveness of your marketing strategies and promotions in driving traffic to your Store home page.

Store Search Keywords Report
Shows a count of how many times a keyword was searched within your Store. This report includes keywords used for Title searches as well as Title and Description searches. You can use this report to identify which keywords are most frequently searched within your Store and determine the best words to use in your listing titles and descriptions.
