How Buyers See Your eBay Store Listings

Visibility of Store Inventory listings

When members are searching Stores, your Store Inventory listings appear together with Auction-style and Fixed Price listing formats in the following areas:

  • "Search for Items in Stores" box at stores.ebay.com

  • All searches within a single Store

  • Seller's Other Items page

  • Searches for Store Inventory listing only

Store Inventory listings also appear in the main search results when 30 or fewer Auction-style and Fixed Price results surface in the following areas:

  • eBay search and browse results

  • Product Details (Catalog) pages (when seller uses Pre-filled Item Information)

Store Inventory listings always appear in the main search results at the end of Auction-style and Fixed Price listings when:

  • The "All items including Store Inventory" or "Store Inventory items only" check box in the Search Options box is selected on the search and browse pages. This allows members to browse pages and see all Store Inventory listings below the Auction-style and Fixed Price items.

  • eBay's main search returns 0 Auction-style or Fixed Price items, then up to 30 Store Inventory items will be presented with Gallery images.

  • Store Inventory items can also appear on Product Details (Catalog) pages following the same rules.

Tip: Unlike items in other formats (Auction-style and Fixed Price), they have less visibility in eBay's main search results. The most effective way to bring buyers to your Store Inventory items is to list some of your items using the Auction-style and Fixed Price listing format, which receive more prominent placement in regular eBay searches and categories. Within these listings, describe your Store and include links to your Store's home page, Store categories, or Store Inventory items.

Tip: Add a listing frame to your Store's listings to gain more visibility for your Store in the View Item pages. The listing frame will add your Store's header with your logo and links to custom pages, as well as your Store categories, so buyers can find your other items.

Listing upgrades with Store Inventory format

To help bring more buyers to your Store, consider adding listing features, such as Gallery, Subtitle, Border, Highlight, Bold, Featured Plus!, and Listing Designer, to your Store Inventory items-to increase your item's visibility. These upgrades appear during specific search instances on eBay.com.
