Use these methods to drive buyer traffic to your Store and generate sales of your Store Inventory items:
Promote your Store on eBay
Make the most of your Auction-style and Fixed Price listings List some of your items in these selling formats, which appear in regular eBay searches and categories. In your item descriptions, include links to pages in your Store - the home page, custom categories, Store Inventory items, etc. For more advanced sellers, incorporate your Store's branding (colors, logo, theme, etc.) as well.
Control your cross-promotions Control which of your other items are promoted when buyers view, bid on, or win your items. Set up your cross-promotions so that your Store Inventory items gain maximum exposure.
Use your About Me page Create an About Me page and devote it to your Store - describe your business, include links to your Store, incorporate your Store's visuals, etc. Once created, the "me" icon always appears next to your User ID for buyers to click on.
Upgrade your subscription level Upgrade your subscription level for more exposure on eBay Stores search pages as well as other parts of eBay.
Promote your Store outside of eBay
Promote your Store in emails and printed materials Always include your Store's name, URL, and branding in your correspondence with buyers, as well as invoices, packing slips, business cards, stationery, and advertisements. Make your own promotional flyer with the Stores tools.
Optimize your Store for Internet search engines Make the text in your Store match the keywords that users would enter when they search for the types of items you're selling. Include these keywords in your Store name, custom category names, and/or the content on your custom pages.
Include your listings in product search engines Arrange to have your Store Inventory items appear on shopping comparison Web sites. Set up partnerships with these sites and export a feed of all of your Store listings so that your partners always have up-to-date information about your items.
Note: If your off-eBay promotions lead to sales in your Store, you could qualify for the Store Referral Credit.
Other tips
Register your domain name Give your Store a URL that's easy for buyers to remember by registering a domain name (for example, www.fancyclocks.com). Buyers who go to your domain name will be automatically forwarded to your Store's home page.
Check your Store Traffic Reports Examine your Store Traffic Reports to find out where your visitors are coming from and where they go in your Store. This information can help you strategize about where you should focus your marketing efforts.
