Saving a draft of an unfinished listing

If you start to create a new listing in the Sell Your Item form, but you don't get to finish it, we'll save it as a draft so that you can finish it later.

How it works
  1. When you fill out the Sell Your Item form but do not complete it, you can click the "Save for later" link and we'll save all the information you've entered so far.

  2. When you're ready to finish the listing, return to eBay and click on Sell at the top of any page. On the Sell page, click the Complete button under "Finish your draftlisting." You'll continue from where you left off in the Sell Your Item form.

Availability of your saved draft

Your saved draft remains available on eBay for you to complete unless:

  • Over 30 days pass since the last time you edited the draft. After this period, the draft will expire.

  • You start a brand new listing and click the "Save for later" link. This new listing now becomes your saved draft, replacing the previous one. You can only have one saved draft at a time.
