How do I bring buyers to my eBay Store?
In this article

Use these methods to drive buyer traffic to your Store.

Promoting your Store on eBay

Make the most of your auction-style and fixed price listings.
List some of your items in these selling formats, which appear in regular eBay searches and categories. In your item descriptions, include links to pages in your Store—the home page, custom categories, and so on. You can also incorporate your Store's branding, such as your colors and logo, into your listings.
Control your cross-promotions.
Control which of your other items are promoted when buyers bid or win your items. Set up your cross-promotions so that your Store items gain maximum exposure.
Use your About Me page.
Create an About Me page and devote it to your Store—describe your business, include links to your Store, incorporate your Store's visuals, and so on.
Upgrade your subscription level.
Upgrade your subscription level for more exposure on eBay Stores search pages as well as other parts of eBay.

Promoting your Store outside of eBay

Promote your Store in emails and printed materials.
Always include your Store's name, web address, and branding in your correspondence with buyers, as well as invoices, packing slips, business cards, stationery, and advertisements. Create promotional flyers for your eBay Store.
Optimize your Store for Internet search engines.
Make the text in your Store match the keywords that users would enter when they search for the types of items you're selling. Include these keywords in your Store name, custom category names, and the content on your custom pages.

More tips

Register your domain name.
Give your Store a web address that's easy for buyers to remember by registering a domain name (for example, www.fancyclocks.com). Buyers who go to your website will be automatically forwarded to your eBay Store's home page.
Check your Store traffic reports.
Examine your Store traffic reports to find out where your visitors are coming from and where they go in your Store. This information can help you strategize about where you should focus your marketing efforts.
