Adding a counter to your listing

What is a counter?

A counter is a free tool that counts visits to your listing. It appears at the bottom of your listing. By using a counter, you'll know the number of times your listing has been viewed by visitors. A counter can help you determine how interested buyers are in your item.

Here's a sample counter from a listing viewed 359 times:

About counters

The counter appears at the bottom of your listing page. You can select from three styles: basic, retro-computer, and hidden.

To add a counter to your listing when you're listing an item:

  1. Go to the Describe the item you're selling section of the form.

  2. Scroll down to the Visitor counter section.

  3. Select the type of counter you'd like from the drop-down list.

Note: This option isn't available in the quick listing tool.
