eBay-provided Inserts save you time on repeat entries
eBay-provided Inserts are logos, HTML tags and other frequently used entries that experienced eBay sellers often add to their item descriptions.
Create your own Inserts for re-use
You can create, name, and have eBay store for future use, five insertable text or HTML entries that you can use in your item descriptions. Each Insert can be up to 1000 characters. These Inserts allow you to save time re-entering favorite tag lines, seller merchandising messages, and custom policies such as feedback or warranty information.
To create an Insert
- From the Inserts drop-down list, click "Create an Insert."
- In the "Create an Insert" pop-up box, give your Insert a name that will be easy for you to recognize.
- Enter your custom text or HTML and click Save.
- The name you gave your Insert will appear in the "Inserts" drop-down list.
Adding Inserts to your description
Select an Insert title to add it to your item description. The Insert will appear at the point of your cursor.
