Combined Payments gives you the option to specify shipping discounts that allow your buyers to save on shipping. The discount you specify will be used to automatically calculate shipping savings that your buyers will receive when purchases and payments are combined.

By setting up shipping discount rules upfront, you'll have a better chance of selling your other items more quickly! Prominent messages will appear encouraging your buyers to save on shipping by buying more from you, a seller they already know and trust.

eBay will also automatically calculate the shipping discount for you, and deduct it from the total cost of the purchase when buyers initiate payment. The shipping savings will be displayed to your buyers when they pay.

Start offering shipping discounts
To set up shipping discounts, go to the Preferences tab in My eBay. Select the "Specify Shipping Discounts for combined purchases" link. On the Shipping Discount Preferences page, select the "Yes, allow buyers to combine items purchased within xx days and send a single payment." You will then be prompted to specify your shipping discounts on either flat rate or actual rate shipping.
