Improve performance by bundling items
You may want to list several related items as a bundle in a single listing. For example, multiple sellers may list the same video console, but one seller may offer an extra controller and another seller may include a compatible game. Buyers can filter for listings with and without bundles and select the bundle that's right for them. Bundles also allow sellers to follow a manufacturer's minimum advertised pricing (MAP) policy and still offer great, unique deals to buyers.
Adding accurate information when you list will help buyers easily compare your bundles to others. It also helps eBay show the listing as bundle in search results and highlight the value of your bundle.
These guidelines will help ensure your bundle listing is successful.
Creating a bundle listing
To create a bundle listing:
Select which additional items are included in your bundle from the Bundled Items section of Item Specifics.
Note: Make sure you only include extra accessories or items that you're adding to the main product. Don't include any items that were included by the manufacturer in the original package with the main product.
Follow these guidelines when you create a bundle listing to help increase visibility of your listing in search results and to make sure buyers know exactly what they will receive.
Items: Make sure the items you are bundling are highly complementary to the main item in the listing. All bundled items should be accessories for the main product.
List your main product with product details from the eBay catalog
when possible. Buyers are more likely to buy your item if they can see important product information immediately. Including details from our product catalog in your listing creates a shopping experience that speeds the buyer's path from search to purchase.
Include the word "bundle" and the name of major bundled items in the title of your listing
so buyers can find your item and know what they're bidding on or buying. Don't include items in the title that are typically included by the manufacturer in the original package with the main product. Example:
Because most MP3 players come with earphones, don't add "earphones" to your title unless you're including an extra item.
Select which additional items are included in your bundle from the Bundled Items
section of Item Specifics
. Don't specify items that are included by the manufacturer in the original package with the main product. Bundled item specifics are available in the Corded Drills, Cordless Drills, Digital Cameras, iPod & MP3 Players, and Video Game Consoles categories. Learn more about providing item specifics
Clearly state in your description
that the listing is for a bundle and identify the specific items included in the bundle.
Make sure you include pictures
of each item included in the bundle. You can add up to 12 pictures to your listing for free.
When you include accessories as a bundle, you offer a special value to your buyer. If you accept returns, all items in the bundle need to be returned for the buyer to receive a full refund. This helps ensure that sellers are protected in case of a return. Learn how to create a return policy
Make sure your listing and all items included in your bundle follow eBay policies
