You can use the Sell a Similar Item feature to list an exact copy of one of your active items. For example, if one of your active listings is doing well, you can quickly list more of these items without filling out the Sell Your Item form multiple times.

To create and list a copy of an active listing:

  1. While in the Active View, select the check box next to the listings that you want to copy.
To select all of your Unsold items, select the check box in the heading bar above your listings.

  2. Select "Sell Similar" in the Action column.

The Sell Your Item form opens with the listing details filled in to match the listing that you selected.

  3. Review and submit your listing.

Revising a listing

Once an item is listed there are limitations on revising a listing. The information that you can revise in your listing depends on the time left before the listing ends and whether or not you have received any bids.

If your item has received no bids, Best Offers, or sales, and does not end within 12 hours. You can revise anything in your listing except the selling format (for example, you can't change your auction item to an eBay Stores item).

If your item has already received a bid/purchase, or Best Offers, or ends within 12 hours, you can only:

  • Add to the item description (Exception: If your listing already has a bid/purchase and ends within 12 hours, you can't add to your description or add a second category).

  • Add optional seller features to increase your item's visibility.

To revise a listing:

  1. While in the Active View, click the triangle icon in the Action column to display the pull-down list.

  2. Select "Revise" from the list.

  3. Click the Edit button.

  4. Specify the information that you want to edit in your listings on the Edit Listings: Listing Information page.

    –or–

Select “Edit listings in bulk” to make the same changes to all of the listings (according to their selling format).

  6. Click the Continue button.

If you selected the “Edit listings individually” option, the Edit Listings: Edit Individual Listings page will appear.

If you selected the “Edit listings in bulk” option, the Edit Listings: Edit Listings in Bulk page will appear.
