Why does eBay have this policy? This policy allows sellers to provide more information about the item for sale outside of eBay without encouraging the buyer to purchase outside of eBay. This policy also allows buyers to learn more about the item without completing the transaction outside of eBay. Outside of eBay transaction may be unsafe and are against eBay policy.
