Policy overview
eBay's Feedback forum is intended to be an open, honest place to share your experiences with other eBay members. However, there are some things we don't allow in Feedback comments, such as obscene language.
Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don’t, you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.
Changing Feedback left for a seller
If you're a buyer and you want to change a negative or neutral Feedback you left for a seller, please direct the seller to our page on requesting Feedback revisions. The seller may then be able to request a Feedback revision from you.
Reporting suspected Feedback abuse
If another member left Feedback that isn't allowed, please report it to us.
What are the guidelines?

While insulting language, like "fraud," "liar," "cheater," "scam artist," or "con man," is strongly discouraged, Feedback containing such language won't be removed unless it also contains some type of content that isn't allowed. |

We don't allow Feedback comments that contain:
References to eBay or PayPal investigations Negative statements left for a buyer that conflict with the positive rating Personally identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or email address Political, religious, or social commentary rather than a genuine comment about the transaction Profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language, or adult material

If a member includes any information that isn't allowed, eBay will remove the Feedback if it is reported to us, and may take actions such as the ones listed above.

Why does eBay have this policy? We want Feedback to be an open and honest way for members to share their experiences with other members. This helps people in the eBay Community decide whom they want to do business with. However, there are certain things we won't allow, like abusive language, because such comments don't provide other members with useful information. In cases where we think the Feedback violates our policies, we will remove it.
