How do I know how much to pay?

When you click Pay Now, your payment details will usually be automatically calculated for you. You can find the Pay Now link in My eBay.

To pay for your item:

  1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.

  2. Click the Purchase History link on the left side of the page.

  3. Click the Pay Now link to the right of the item.

Note: If you need to pay in a foreign currency, you can find out how much you're paying in U.S. dollars using our currency converter.

If the payment details aren't available, or the totals don't seem correct, here's what to do:

  1. Review the item description and any emails you've received from the seller. If the seller specified shipping costs in the item description or sent you shipping costs by email, you may be able to manually enter this information on the Review Your Purchase page after you click Pay Now. You can only do this if the seller has enabled this option. If you can't, go to the next step.

  2. If you still don't have the information you need, click the Request total from seller link next to the seller's user ID. After you request the total, the seller can send you a new invoice that includes the correct payment information.

When the seller sends your new invoice, click the Pay Now button in the invoice to see your updated total.
