There are different ways to find vehicles on eBay Motors to suit your shopping needs. No matter how you find a vehicle you’re interested in, when you choose a specific vehicle to view, you will find a great deal of information about the vehicle. The information has been organized to help you learn as much as you can about the vehicle before you decide to buy it.

Finding a Vehicle

Whether searching by keyword or browsing categories, finding a vehicle is tailored to the shopping experience you choose.

• Search when you want a quick, targeted search. Use keywords that best describe the vehicle you’re looking for including year, make, model and use the Search box at the top of the eBay Motors home page. You can also use the Make and Model pull-down menus on the eBay Motors home page.

• Browse when you’re not exactly sure what you’re looking for, or when you just want to explore the range of vehicles on eBay Motors. To browse, use the “Browse by type” menu on the home page or use the category menus in the header at the top of any page

Vehicle Listing Tabs

Seller's Description
This tab will show up as the default when on the vehicle listing page. The seller’s description is organized into different sections.

The section under the vehicle heading includes general information about the vehicle including:

• Description, Mileage, and Location

• History, Inspection, and Warranty

• Features

• Options

Description
The section labeled Description includes the photos the seller took of the vehicle and the description of the vehicle in the seller’s own words.

Shipping, payment detail and return policy
This section includes pick up and shipping information the seller has provided, the payment methods accepted, when the entire payment for the vehicle is due, and the seller’s payment instructions.

History Report
The History Report tab will allow you to purchase an AutoCheck Vehicle History Report from Experian. The vehicle history report will let you know if this vehicle has been stolen, salvaged or rebuilt, damaged in a flood, used as a rental or fleet vehicle, or has an invalid odometer reading.

Ordering a History Report
To order a vehicle history report, go to the History Report tab on the vehicle listing page. You can purchase a single report for that vehicle or a 10-pack. If you are just beginning your search for a vehicle, buying a 10-pack gives you the option to retrieve additional reports on other vehicles you find. When you return to the History Report tab, a link will appear where you can retrieve remaining reports from your 10-pack purchase.

Note: If the seller has already purchased a vehicle history report and included it in the listing, a message will be displayed on the History Report tab.

Shipping
It is standard practice on eBay Motors for the buyer to make the arrangements and pay the costs associated with picking up (by flying or driving) or shipping the vehicle. You should also check the seller’s description to see if there are any shipping options offered by the seller.

Shipping quotes from a number of auto shippers are provided to eBay Motors through Gigamoves. To get information on shipping a car, truck, or motorcycle, click the Shipping tab on any vehicle listing page. Estimated quotes based on your location and the location the vehicle is in will be provided. To get a more detailed quote, click the “Get custom quotes” button.

Financing
If you're interested in a loan, you can calculate monthly payments and get current interest rates in Financing. Bids and offers are legally binding, so be sure you can pay the amount in full or have allowed enough time to secure financing before you make an offer.

To calculate monthly payments for a specific vehicle or get matched to a financing company that can help you secure a loan, click the Financing tab that appears on that vehicle’s listing.

Buyer Checklist
The Buyer Checklist is a tool to help guide you through the process of buying a vehicle on eBay Motors. Review the steps on the Buyer Checklist before purchasing. To help you keep track of the steps you’ve completed, you can check each item that’s completed. Click the “Save my checklist” button at the bottom of the checklist page to save it. You can revisit and edit it at a later date.

Tip: Your checklist is associated with a particular vehicle for sale. To return to your checklist, return to the vehicle listing. An easy way to keep track is to click the “Watch this item” button. The vehicle will be saved to “Items I’m watching” in my eBay.

Know your seller

Just as important as learning about the vehicle you’re interested in, is getting to know your seller. Use the information that appears in the top right-hand corner of the vehicle listing page to learn about your seller.

Meet the seller – Check the seller’s feedback rating and take time to read feedback comments.

Ask the seller a question – It is important to contact the seller and have your questions answered to your satisfaction before you make an offer or bid on a vehicle.
