Searching eBay Stores

You can search eBay Stores in the following ways:

Searching for items in eBay Stores

You can search for items from eBay Store sellers. This is helpful if, for example, you feel more comfortable buying items from eBay sellers who might be more knowledgeable about the item, specialize in the item, or are likely to have a variety of items. The search results appear in list view.

To search for items in eBay Stores:
  1. Click the “Advanced Search” link located at the top of most eBay pages.

  2. On the left side of the page, under Stores, click the “Items in Stores” link.

  3. Enter your search criteria, and select your sort options.

  4. Click the Search button.

Searching for eBay Stores with matching items

You can search for eBay Stores that include matching items. This search is helpful if, for example, you’re trying to find a Store with the highest number of hats in inventory. Search results include the Store name, a link to the Store, a description of the Store, and the number of matching items within that Store.

To search for eBay Stores with matching items:
  1. Click the “Advanced Search” link located at the top of most eBay pages.

  2. On the left side of the page, under Stores, click the “Find Stores” link.

  3. Enter your keyword(s), and select the “Stores with matching items” option.

  4. Click the Search button.

Searching for eBay Stores by name

You can search for eBay Stores by name by using either the exact Store name or a keyword. This search is helpful for finding a particular Store, whether you remember the exact Store name or just a portion of it. For example, if you can’t remember an exact Store name, but you remember that the Store name included the word hat, you could enter hat as your keyword. All Stores that include the word hat in the Store name are returned.

If a Store name is found that is an exact match based on your search, it is returned first. The remaining Stores are sorted alphabetically, by subscription level, with North American Stores listed first followed by any international Stores. Search results include the Store name, a link to the Store, and a description of the Store.

To search for eBay Stores by name:
  1. Click the “Advanced Search” link located at the top of most eBay pages.

  2. On the left side of the page under Stores, click the “Find Stores” link.

  3. Enter the Store name or your keyword(s), and select the “Store name only” option.

  4. Click the Search button.
