What is SID?

SID is an ID number you can assign to a unique Editor Kit placement. Commission Junction collects your Editor Kits' performance data (confirmed registration, bids, etc.) associated with the SIDs and makes them available to you. You can use SID to "tag" each one of your Editor Kits and analyze the results to determine which Editor Kit placement performs the best. You can thus optimize your search terms, layouts, etc. for your Editor Kits.

A valid SID shall be a string of up to 30 alpha-numeric characters. In addition to alpha-numeric characters, spaces, commas, periods, and @ symbols may be used in the SID. Non-alpha-numeric characters are illegal and cannot be used in the SID. SID value cannot be set to 0 (zero) either.
