Why was my account suspended?
There are two reasons why an account may be suspended:
Non-payment of eBay fees (often resolved by updating your credit card or debit card information)
If your account is suspended, we’ll send a notification to your messages in My eBay. The notification includes the reason for your account suspension and the steps you can take to resolve the suspension.
To view your messages in My eBay:Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.
As with all our messages, we’ll also send a copy to the email address we have on file for your account. Learn more about suspended accounts.
Resolving your account suspension
If your account was suspended, here are some things you can try.

Appeal your suspension by replying directly to the suspension notice you received. Be sure to include any relevant information. |

Recognizing a fake account suspension notice
Watch out for spoof (fake) email warnings about account suspension. To confirm that an email was sent from eBay, check your messages in My eBay. If you can't find the same email you received at your regular address in your messages in My eBay, it's not from eBay.
