Making a listing private
In this article
In this article

If you'd like your buyers' identities to remain anonymous, you can create a private listing.

When to use a private listing

While there are some cases where private listings are appropriate, such as the sale of high-priced ticket items or approved pharmaceutical products, you should only make your listing private if you have a specific reason.

Creating a private listing

To create a private listing:
  1. Go to the Choose a format and price section of the form you use to create your listing.

  2. Select the Private listing check box.

If you can't find this check box, click the Add or remove options link within the same section. In the window that appears, select Private listing, and then click the Save button.
