There are two types of shipping costs: flat and calculated. If the seller specifies a flat shipping cost, buyers across the country pay the same shipping costs. If the seller uses the eBay Calculator, eBay automatically calculates shipping costs based on your ZIP Code. Shipping costs are generally lower on these items.

Note: Shipping costs are only automatically calculated if you are logged into your eBay account.

You should check the item description or contact the seller for shipping details if:

• You would like to use a different shipping service than what's shown in the listing. For example, you should contact the seller if you'd like UPS Next Day Air shipping, but the seller only offers UPS Ground. Calculated shipping costs only apply for the shipping services the seller has selected.

• You purchase multiple different items from a seller. The shipping calculator can determine shipping costs if you purchase a single item or a lot of items within a single listing, but you should contact the seller for shipping costs if you've purchased multiple items from a seller.
