Adding pictures to your eBay listing has never been easier if you have
a picture stored in your computer. Here's how you benefit from our picture
services:
- It's easy! Add up to 6 pictures and remember, the first picture is free with this special introductory offer! Just drag and drop a picture from your computer directly
into the Sell Your Item form. There is no need to hassle with third-party
hosting and external urls. Pictures Services does it for you!
- Edit, transform and enhance your photos:
- Easily crop and rotate pictures before you submit them
- Turn multimple photos into an interactive slide show
- Select "SuperSize Images" if you want to show even more details of
your items
- PLUS - Eliminate the need for editing software, confusing FTP
(File Transfer Protocol), or outside photo hosting services. Your pictures
are even automatically sized and formatted to eBay specifications for
fast download.
How to add a picture to your eBay listing
On the previous Picture Services page, you'll see either a picture box
or a "Browse" button. Just click on the box or button to select
your photo from your computer. If you see a picture box, you also have
the option of dragging and dropping your photo directly into the
picture box. Once you've finished, click the "Submit pictures and continue"
button.
You'll now see the Sell Your Item form. Fill it out and when you get
to the Picture Services section, choose whether you want a standard layout
or a slide show.

When you finish filling out this form, click the "review" button to review

Check these requirements
In order to add a picture using our picture service, you'll need to have
a picture already stored in your computer. If you do not have this,
please check out eBay's general photo
tutorial for help on how to save a photo to your computer. Here are
a few other requirements:
Make sure your computer uses one of these platforms:
- Windows 95, 98, 2000, or NT
- Macintosh
And at least one of these Web browsers:
For the PC
- Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher on Windows 95, 98, Windows NT and
Windows 2000
- Netscape 3.0 or higher on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, Windows
2000
- AOL 4.0 or AOL 5.0
For the Macintosh
- Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher
- Netscape 4.0 or higher
- AOL 4.0 or higher
Your picture should also be saved in one of the following graphic
file formats:
- GIF
- JPEG (recommended)
- BMP
- Animated GIF
- TIF, PNG, and PCX
