What to do in New Orleans
Here are some suggestions for things to do, courtesy of the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau.
 
Tours
As with all tours anywhere, it's always best to call ahead for availability and arrive well before departure time.
 
Mississippi Jazz Cruises
Take a two-hour cruise down the Mississippi on the Natchez, one of the oldest steamboats on the Mississippi.
 
Daily Tours:
Departures at 11:30am and 2:30pm
Approximate length of tour is 2 hours
 
Rates:
Cruise only: $18 adults, $9 children 6-12
Cruise with lunch: $24.50 adults, $15.50 children 6-12

Plantation Tour

Cemetery Tours
Tour the most haunted cemetery in New Orleans, "St. Louis #1," and visit the tomb of the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans, Marie Laveau. This tour includes Armstrong Park and historic Congo Square.
