Max Mancini
Senior Director of Platform and Disruptive Innovation, eBay

In his innovation leadership role, Max drives idea creation across the business, and directs innovation projects, new business strategies and product investment. For the eBay Developers Program, Max and his team enable third-party developers to extend the eBay marketplace by creating solutions that make it faster, easier and safer to buy and sell on eBay. In his previous roles at eBay, Max led an engineering team of 70+ developers responsible for development on eBay Stores, merchandising, registration, sign-in, trust & safety, and customer support tools. He also led the product and technology teams for Kijiji, eBay's local community classifieds websites, as well as eBay's New Business Ventures.

John Donahoe
President and CEO, eBay Inc.

John Donahoe became President and CEO of eBay Inc. on March 31, 2008. In this role, John has global responsibility for growing each of the company's business units, which include eBay Marketplaces, PayPal and Skype.

John came to eBay in February 2005 as President of eBay Marketplaces, responsible for all elements of eBay's global ecommerce businesses. In this role, he focused on expanding eBay's core business, which accounts for a large percentage of the company's revenues. John also oversaw a number of strategic acquisitions, including Shopping.com and StubHub, and classifieds sites, such as Gumtree and LoQUo.

During the three years he served as President of Marketplaces, revenues and profits for this division doubled.

Prior to eBay, John spent more than 20 years at Bain & Company, a worldwide consulting firm based in Boston. Starting as an Associate Consultant, John rose to become the firm's CEO, where he oversaw Bain's 30 offices and 3,000 employees.

In addition to serving on eBay's Inc.'s Board of Directors, John is also on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College.

John received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rajiv Dutta
Executive Vice President, eBay Inc.; President eBay Marketplaces

Rajiv Dutta is the President of eBay Marketplaces and Executive Vice President of eBay Inc. with overall responsibility for eBay Marketplaces, a global business unit that contributed about 70-percent of eBay Inc.'s total 2007 revenue of nearly $7.7 billion. Rajiv is also a member of eBay's Board of Directors.

Since joining eBay in 1998, Rajiv has held a number of leadership roles within the company. Immediately prior to becoming President of the eBay Marketplaces unit in 2008, Rajiv was President of PayPal overseeing a period of rapid growth and expansion, particularly in the company's merchant services segment. Rajiv was also President of Skype, and previously Chief Financial Officer of eBay. During his tenure as CFO, eBay's market capitalization increased six-fold, revenue grew from $750 million to $4.5 billion, and the employee base grew from just under 2,000 to nearly 12,000 employees. Additionally, Rajiv served as Chief Strategy Officer and led the New Ventures Group, which oversaw eBay's entry into the global classifieds market and the acquisition of Shopping.com.

Prior to eBay, Rajiv was the worldwide sales controller for KLA-Tencor, and previously spent 10 years at Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.

Rajiv received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with honors from St. Stephen's College, Delhi University in India, and a Master of Business Administration from the Drucker School of Management, Claremont Graduate School, California.

Tony Hsieh
CEO, Zappos.com

Tony originally got involved with Zappos as an advisor and investor in 1999, about 2 months after the company was founded. Over time, Tony ended up spending more and more time with the company because it was both the most fun and the most promising out of all the companies that he was involved with. He eventually joined Zappos full time in 2000. Under his leadership, Zappos has grown gross merchandise sales from $1.6M in 2000 to $840M in 2007 by focusing relentlessly on customer service.

Tony focuses on continuing to grow the business at a rapid pace while maintaining the culture and feel of a small company. Prior to joining Zappos, Tony co-founded Venture Frogs with Alfred Lin. Tony met Alfred Lin (COO/CFO) in college, when Tony was running a pizza business and Alfred was his #1 customer. Venture Frogs is an incubator and investment firm that invested in Internet startups, including Ask Jeeves, Tellme Networks, and of course, Zappos.com. Prior to Venture Frogs, Tony co-founded LinkExchange, an advertising network that was successfully sold to Microsoft for $265M in 1998.

Adam Gross
Vice President of Platform and Developer Marketing, salesforce.com

Adam Gross is Vice President of Platform and Developer Marketing at salesforce.com. At the company, Gross focuses on bringing platform, integration and development technologies to developers, ISVs and companies around the world to build on-demand applications on the Force.com platform and deliver them through the AppExchange marketplace. This work includes launching the company's first Web services API, which has grown to become one of the most popular business Web services available, accounting for over 50 percent of all of salesforce.com's traffic.

Prior to salesforce.com, Adam was an early innovator in the Web services market, serving as Vice President of Product Marketing at GrandCentral Communications (now acquired by Google). Prior to GrandCentral, Gross co-founded Personify, a San Francisco-based software company that provided personalization and analytics systems for some of the largest sites on the Web, and served as a technology analyst in Stanford Research Institute's Media Futures Program. Gross holds a B.S. in New Media Systems and Policy from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mike Shaver
Chief Evangelist, Mozilla

Mike Shaver is a founding member of the Mozilla project, and has been involved since its inception in aspects ranging from software development and architecture to governance and licensing. As Chief Evangelist, Mike leads a team working to help developers, users, and everyone else better understand Mozilla and how they can benefit from and participate in Mozilla's work to improve the Web for everyone.

In addition to his decade of work on Mozilla, Mike has worked on the Linux kernel, high-performance filesystems, privacy technology, electronic cash prototypes, and large-scale web applications. He is a frequent speaker and advisor to open source projects and companies, and a passionate advocate for the Open Web.

Mike lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter. He speaks marginal French, likes to cook and play video games, and hopes to live long enough to see the Maple Leafs win a Stanley Cup.
