What is Merchandising Manager?
Merchandising Manager allows eBay Stores sellers to control which items their buyers see after they bid on or buy one of their items, or use Checkout after a transaction has ended. Sellers can choose different items to show on each listing. For example, you may want to show buyers the film, camera case, batteries, and other accessories for the camera they just bid on or bought.

What kind of items can I promote?
You can show accessories or other related items for any of your listings, regardless of pricing format. However, the accessories you choose to promote must be Store Inventory (Stores Fixed Price) items. In the above example, even if the camera was sold in an auction-style listing, the film, camera case, and batteries must be listed in Store Inventory format. You may not promote ended merchandise or items listed in Mature Audiences.

Will my gallery images be shown to my buyers?
Yes. If you have selected the gallery option for a Store Inventory (Stores Fixed Price) item, then that image will be displayed when the item is displayed as "cross-merchandise". Also, if you have not selected gallery, but you have an iPIX titlebar image, that image will be displayed.

How can I see how my items will appear to my buyers?
For every item you have listed, you can determine which items your buyers will be shown by establishing "merchandising relationships", which are used to cross-reference your listings. Before you save any merchandising relationships. Merchandising Manager will allow you to review exactly what will be shown to your buyers.

How long will it take for my new relationships take effect?
Any changes you make to your relationships will take effect immediately.

Do I have to build relationships for all my items?
No. You can designate relationships for as many or as few items as you'd like. If you choose not to include cross-merchandise on one of your items, eBay will continue to automatically select related items you are selling to display to your buyers.

Is there any extra benefit for owning a featured or anchor Store?
Absolutely! If you have a featured or anchor Store, the merchandise you promote will also appear on your item pages, helping to achieve even greater visibility for your Store Inventory (Stores Fixed Price) items. Only items you choose to promote through Merchandising Manager will be shown on your item pages. However, if you would prefer for your promoted merchandise to only be shown on the Bid Confirmation or Checkout Confirmation pages, you may opt out of showing other items on your item page.
