| Frequently Asked Questions: Listing Designer 1. What is Listing Designer? Listing Designer is a new feature available to sellers to help them make more professional and fun descriptions without having to know any HTML. Sellers can choose a "theme" and a "layout" to apply to their listings by selecting from the available choices in the Sell Your Item form. Themes add different looks to descriptions. Layouts align pictures with description text. 2. What is the fee for using Listing Designer? If listing an item through the site, the introductory price for Listing Designer is $0.10 per listing. There will be no charge for using Listing Designer if the item is listed through Turbo Lister. Click to learn more about Turbo Lister. 3. If I use Listing Designer, can I still use HTML tags in my description? Yes. Any tags you specify in your description will override HTML in the theme and layout. For example, if you specify "Sans Serif" font in your description, it will override the default "Arial" font when a theme has been selected. 4. Do I have to choose a theme and a layout? No. You are welcome to choose only a theme or only a layout without selecting both. However, if you choose to apply a theme or a layout, then the $0.10 fee for Listing Designer will be applied. 5. Can I use Listing Designer even if I do not have any pictures? Yes. You can use Listing Designer even if you do not have any pictures. Themes will work with any description. However, the layout you choose will not have any effect unless you add pictures to your listing. 6. Can I preview my listing before deciding to use Listing Designer? Yes. On the Pictures and Details page in the Sell Your Item form, choose a theme and/or layout from the selection boxes. Once you have made your selections, click the preview link to see how the description you wrote on the previous page will look with Listing Designer. You can preview as many times as you like. 7. Is Listing Designer available in Turbo Lister? Yes. This functionality has been and will continue to be available in Turbo Lister. If you use Turbo Lister to list your items, there will be no fee for using this feature. Listing Designer is also free for relisted items that were originally listed through Turbo Lister. 8. Can I choose not to see Listing Designer in the Sell Your Item form? If you would prefer not to use Listing Designer, you may click the "minimize" link to shrink the section. eBay will automatically remember your selection for future listings.
