First 10,000-Level Feedback Shooting Star Awarded

Although he calls himself parrothead88, (Parrot Head is a nickname for Jimmy Buffett fans) there will be no "wastin' away in Margaritaville" for this busy eBay member.

Parrothead88, otherwise known as John, recently became eBay's first community member to reach a feedback rating of 10,000 earning him a Shooting Star next to his feedback number!

Rather than watching his feedback score, John says, "My goal is to serve and completely satisfy every single one of my customers. They pay me for a service and I intend to make sure each one of them continues to receive top-quality merchandise at a great price, and in as timely a manner as is humanly possible. That goal has not changed since the day I started on eBay. The 'numbers' will take care of themselves."

Very modest about his accomplishment, John says, "The "10,000 'thingy' is actually a little embarrassing. I am no different than any of the other members of the eBay community who have successful transactions, and I applaud each and every single one of them!"

Some of his customers, however, have not been quite so shy. "I am still totally amazed at the number of eBay members who have called or emailed me to give me a quick 'Way to go' or a 'Congrats.' I had no idea so many people were watching!"
