Lori says she plans to "do the antsy" and also list more items in 2000. Like Ann, Lori is primarily a bookseller, but she says her resolutions include "branching out" into other selling areas on eBay. "I am looking for inexpensive items that have good potential for resale," Lori says. "Popular items seem to be Ziggy, Human Beans, and Love Is items from the 70s and 80s. Puzzles of popular dog breeds, cartoon shows (such as Care Bears and My Little Pony) also are on my list of things to look for when searching for eBayable items."

Being more helpful to the eBay community in the coming year is one of eBay member Gene's goals. "I want to be more attentive to things I can do to help others and less attentive to things I have no control over," Gene says. Chiquita, who collects McCoy pottery, has bought items on eBay for the past year. She thoroughly enjoys the Pottery, Porcelain Chat Board, and says, "My goal for 2000 is to start selling some of the duplicates I've accumulated so I can walk through my house again!"
