Tax time is right around the corner (April 15, to be exact). You may want to check out the Internal Revenue Service's Web site at http://www.irs.ustreas.gov/prod/cover.html to find forms and understand what income needs to be declared on your taxes. eBay cannot give tax advice, but if you made any income, you will want to research possible tax liability. When in doubt, ask a tax accountant.

And since we're on the subject of taxes, now is a good time to begin preparing for next year's tax return. You can start by keeping track of what you sold on eBay since January 1, 1999. Please note: Due to the large volume of transactions, eBay keeps information on transactions available for only a limited time (less than a month).
