eBay Stamps Listing Guidelines and Lot Title Suggestions

Philatelic material offered for sale on eBay can be categorized under the headings listed below. Placing your offerings in the proper category will help potential buyers to locate your offering and will ensure maximum exposure to the greatest number of bidders. Only categories listed in BLACK may be used for assigning lots. Categories in BLUE are higher level classifications used to give structure to the list. The numbers in brackets ([. . .]) are the category numbers in the eBay structure.
Lot Titles: Because of the large number of lots in many of the categories, some buyers use the eBay Search feature to locate items of interest. Sellers will find that they can be sure that these potential buyers locate their offerings by using certain conventions when preparing Lot Titles. See Composing Lot Titles for detailed suggestions for preparing Lot Titles. Many of the categories also include specific Lot Title Suggestions.
