McBroom's Camera Bluebook: A Complete, Up-To-Date Price & Buyers Guide for New & Used Cameras, Lenses, & Accessories – 1998. Written by Michael McBroom. Published by Amherst Media. An excellent reference for used equipment. Does not go into antiques and classics.

McKeown's Price Guide to Antique & Classic Cameras 1998. Written by Jim & Joan McKeown. Published by Centennial Photo Service. The antique and classic camera bible.

Shutterbug. Published by Patch Publishing. A monthly magazine in which numerous, large, used photo equipment dealers advertise. Invaluable resource in determining value for both sellers and buyers. Also has some good articles on different aspects of photography.

General Photography

Photography - 6th. Edition. Written by Barbara and John Upton. Published by Addison-Wesley Publishing Co. An excellent general photography reference for everyone from beginners to experts.

Stroebel's View Camera Basics and View Camera Technique. Both written by Leslie Stroebel and published by Focal Press. Wonderful guide to the art and science of large format photography.

Focal Encyclopedia of Photography, Third Edition. Edited by Leslie Stroebel and Richard Zakia. Published by Focal Press. Have a technical question about photography? You'll probably find your answer here.

Hove User's Guides. By many different authors. Published by Amphoto. An assortment of guides covering the use of many modern and classic cameras.

Magic Lantern Guides. By many different authors. Published by Silver Pixel Press. An assortment of guides covering the use of many modern and classic cameras.
